Sedation

As much as we wish it wasn’t the case, we realize that some people feel terribly anxious or fearful about visiting the dentist. If this describes you—you may want to learn more about sedation dentistry.

Nitrous Oxide (Laughing gas) - Is an in-office procedure which can be provided for kids or adults. This procedure slightly takes the edge of stress off of the appointment and is virtually out of your system before you leave the office. You are allowed to drive after having this type of sedation.

Oral Conscious Sedation

For dentistry performed under oral sedation, we will prescribe an oral sedative for you to take in office an hour prior to your appointment, so you’ll be feeling relaxed by the time you sit down in the exam room.  As with any time you are in our office, we’ll ensure that you’re feeling comfortable the entire time, and will monitor your vital signs so we can make adjustments as necessary.
